Using current 64-bit technology ROKA³ simulates hydraulic networks with 100K+ pipes and nodes within a few seconds on standard PC hardware.
The dynamic simulation module allows the calculation of whole days or even weeks with flexible temporal resolution (e.g. 15min). Inflows, tank levels, flows and pressure values are calculated adapting to the demand patterns. Dynamic result values are shown in freely configurable charts.
ROKA³s user defined control rules automate dynamic simulation based on event- or timedependent conditions. E.g. pumps are switched on, when a minimum tank level is reached.
Time series of measured pressure values facilitate the network calibration. Diagrams display the differences between measured and calculated pressures.
For water networks the dynamic distribution of chemicals can be simulated. Moreover the quality engine allows the simulation of the water age (time difference between inflow and outflow at a customer) and the placement of marker nodes, to simulate the inflow from different sources.
